Really inspiring and insightful book for those who want to take their drumming to the next level! I loved the way Ray wrote all the transcriptions and it is very helpful for finding out all the patterns, details and techniques used throughout the album. Absolutely worth it, especially for big Haken fans!

Fantastic book

I've been playing drums for a very long time (40+ years) and have studied drummers from every genre and era. Never before have I heard someone who has such a unique voice and compositional skills in the percussive arts. Before I bought any of Ray's drum guides I would listen in awe and try to disseminate his playing to no avail. But alas, the drum guide to the rescue! Now I can listen along while I read the music and pretend that I can actually play along with Haken! The only thing I am missing now is being able split my brain into four parts so that each limb can play a different beat/tempo at the same time.

For any drummer who likes Haken, this is a wonderful book. The detail is very impressive- not only of the music score, but the descriptions of each track and drum setup. This was a gift for my son, who absolutely loved it. Cannot fault this item at all. It's brilliant. Many thanks to Ray for making these books of the albums available.
